X, the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, at one time transformed San Francisco's Mid-Market when their headquarters moved to the former Western Furniture Exchange art-deco building. The one-time startup was founded in 2006, but has seen some radical change, including a rebrand, since Elon Musk took over. We are following the latest developments as the CEO plans to move company employees out of San Francisco.

This is one of the worst places to do business. Taxes are sky high, and your employees don’t even want to come to the office because it’s unsafe and ridiculously expensive to commute. Then you have to deal with a useless administration, government and PD.

A lot of AI companies i heard are also moving or have moved to Redwood City & Palo Alto fearing the crimes committed against their workers (property crimes) . The less $950 misdemeanor bill and giving out free needles 💉 to drug addicts was not a great idea I bet. Love this city while growing up but after getting robbed so many times it was time for us to leave.

He’s moving in protest of a law that says grown adult teachers are allowed to keep secrets with children regarding their gender and sexuality. He’s really upset about it, and he isn’t the only one.

The Skeleton Crew at X is doing just fine, Elon is also moving his rocket company out of California, there are a few Tesla offices for AI tagging that will probably leave too, but not yet announced.

The people who are saying bye and acting like this is good were the same kids who laughed and smiled when the teacher gave them detention. All emotion, no logic. Not one is giving an example of how this could actually be a benefit.
