People, don't rub in circles. Discs are read in circles so by rubbing in circles you can just create more unreadable patches. Rub from the inside to the outside instead.

I've had this CD for 18 years it's been through some rough times scratched pretty bad.. followed your regimen( I just rinsed the toothpaste off with warm water)I see the scratches but it doesn't SKIP anymore 💃💃💃💃THANK UUUU!!!!

you are NOT suppose to do any kind of circular motions while cleaning ur cd because it makes it WORSE.

This not only gets rid of the scratches but actually upgrades the game as well! Used this on my copy of Bloodborne and after wiping away the paste it transformed into the GOTY edition, fantastic!

You don't just put the toothpaste on then wipe it off, you have to use it as a rubbing/polishing compound to smooth out the scratches, then do the final polishing with the cloth!

Never EVER rub circular around the disc! If you happen to scratch the disc, around circular motion the disc spins, it creates unreadable segment of data! Always rub it from center to edge! Never around in circle!

It didn't work the first time or the second time. So I did it literally 10 more times and it finally worked.

My BO3 Finally WORKS NOW!.

For some context, if it doesn't work, when you're rubbing the toothpaste in, don't do it in circles. If you're making it wet, don't do it in circles, and when you're cleaning it, don't do it in circles. The Disc reader reads it in circles, so rubbing it in circles, makes it worse.

For the most part, it worked! Just fixed up an old copy of Graduation. Segments are still somewhat choppy, but it's a lot better than it was before. Maybe I'll try again?

It...Actually...Worked😨 I have a DVD disc that has a few scratches on it and tried this and since I didn't have a silk cloth i use my "silk" cloth I use to clean my glasses and it acually worked and the disk is Shrek 1 so I can watch the whole movie without it stopping every scratch!😀 Thanks man! Oh and if you have glasses and you have a glasses cloth to clean your glasses then I might as well recommend that you use it whenever you use a silk cloth to clean the DVD disc so you're very very lucky if you're watching this video and your glasses and have a glasses cloth use it for the silk cloth.
