Honestly, I’ve noticed now because of this channel and one other channel how to try and navigate no food rules and with me having ADHD, it’s helped me figure out if I’m actually hungry, or if I’m bored and using food as a space filler for that boredom. It’s really helped me want to turn my eating habits around and to help myself break the cycle of diet culture within my life.

I do the same thing with toast! I like to have one slice with the eggs, then the 2nd slice I call the “dessert slice” with jam. 😋

Yesterday i split a dish at a hibachi grill and didn’t even finish it all.

I had a cheeseburger and then decided i was full enough and skipped the French fries.

It was my sister’s birthday. And we split a plate of cheese curds. But we also went to an arcade. We hit a bunch of baseballs and softballs. Did an obstacle corse in harnesses from the ceiling.

I struggle with binging a lot, and I will say intuitive eating has been very, very helpful for me because I’ve noticed that my binges are less focused around food now now it’s more of like just environmental stress mental health that kind of stuff but before it used to be I can’t have this. I can’t have this. I can’t have this and so that I would eat like 18 times The amount that I’m supposed to have in one you know I can’t have sugar sugar sugar, so I would eat like half a cake type deal I shouldn’t do this. I shouldn’t do this. I shouldn’t do this and I eat a whole pie or you know four people worth of a meal and one sitting type of deal, just listening more to myself and my body and figuring out my craving. Something is something that I actually want that kind of thing has been very, very helpful and I find that I eat a lot better and a lot healthier than I used to. You know I’m not so focused on how much I’m eating or even necessarily what I’m eating but just the way I’m eating you know, I’m able to a lot more easily is going to lead to a binge or if it’s a food that I struggle with portion wise and it’s just been very helpful

Thanks for not hating on deli meat. Some times it's the easiest to make sure I'm getting protein but the voice of others about how it's so bad for you is in my head.

Abbey, I saw a YT short from another RD. She said eating dinner/carbs at night just turns into fat because we're less active and/or sleeping overnight, whereas eating with breakfast/lunch, the carbs at burned off throughout the day as one carries on. She said she's 100% for carbs just during the day at B&L, not dinner to stay a healthy weight. Any truth to this?? Thanks for all you do!!

At the beginning I thought you said I love a “wedding” day that doesn’t start with a body check. Then throughout I was reading WIEIAD as WEDDING and boy oh boy was I confused when there was indeed no wedding lmfao

I am really struggling with sugar and sodium heavy food crawings and feel the need to have those EVERY DAY. I have thought about buying really low cal kids choco puddings and icecreams. They taste more like watered down versions since in Finland most of those kid treats are purposefully made more healthy without loosing taste. 1 pudding has i think 70 cals and okay, to the question!!!! Would it be healthier to purposefully have those rather than trying to not succumb to my crawings? For high sodium, i was thinking pickles and kimchi?
