We bought gas in Webber City last September before heading to our Harvest Host location west of there. Beautiful part of our beautiful country. I could spend months in that area exploring. One day soon I will. 58 Provides a beautiful trip.

MY stomping grounds too... I actually live in RYE COVE-- 12 miles EAST of DUFFIELD, up in the mountains-- but I ALWAYS go to WALmART on STONE DRIVE in Kingsport-- and I've worked TN/VA as coca cola route guy several years back... and grew up here.

Wayne is from New Orleans and I am from Nashville. When we met he told my girlfriend that he had been looking for me all of his life and he was going to marry me! I laughed but was glad his job landed him in my home town!!!

The graveyard you mentioned and passed at the beginning of the video is the Holston View Cemetery. My sister, as well as numerous other friends and family members are buried there. That is where I too will be laid to rest beside of my sister. Rhoton & Smith Furniture Co. is owned by my cousins. Was owned by my aunt and uncle but they both have passed away now and are buried in Holston View Cemetery. When you go under that train trestle, that is where you left Weber City and entered Gate City. I attended Weber City Elementary school and graduated from Gate City High School. The building with the name Quillen on it used to be Quillen Hardware Co. I have dined at the Hob Nob numerous times. Used to be able to get an ostrich burger there. Just before you folks got back on 23 after leaving Gate City you passed the Quarry Pond. It is an old rock quarry and one day while they were digging rock out of there they struck a spring and it filled up over night. There is still heavy equipment down at the bottom of it and it is over 500 feet deep.

That’s the way we go to Pigeon Forge. We live on US 23 in Johnson County Ky. About 100 miles from Gate City. Just out of Pikeville, Ky.

Beautiful countryside. Karen, you did an excellent job driving. I hope the fingenail prints in the dash from Mike are not too deep.🤣🤣🤣 WOW. I hope there is more of this video. Ya'll went so fast at the end and cut it off. Hey 👋 to my man, Big T. Hugs 🤗 and kisses 😘 to you. Please tell me there is more to this video. I wanted to hear the end of the Elizabeth Taylor story. Like maybe Karen knew who saved her and a better look at your food, etc. Be safe, have fun, and God Bless. ❤️
