[FULL] Covid-19 rules to ease under Phase 3 (Heightened Alert) | Task force presser (June 10)

Watch the full Covid-19 multi-ministry task force press conference on June 10, helmed by Health Minister Ong Ye Kung, Trade and Industry Minister Gan Kim Yong, Finance Minister Lawrence Wong, and Director of Medical Services Kenneth Mak.

Tighter measures currently in place to reduce the spread of Covid-19 will be eased progressively from next Monday (June 14).

In a press conference on Thursday, the task force said Singapore will gradually reopen and move to phase 3 (heightened alert) in two stages.

The easing of restrictions from June 14 will include the cap on social gatherings to be raised from two people to five, and the operating capacity of attractions, cruises, museums and public libraries will go up to 50 per cent, while dining in at food and beverage outlets will only be allowed from June 21.

oday 21st June reopening for Dine-in for 2 pax only. why do the F&B outlets /kopitiam still need to stop selling or customer stop drinking alcohol at 10.30pm? why continue to cause suffering to F&B and also the taxi drivers and PHV drivers with shorter hours. it is already more than 1.5 years, how long more do you want to strangle them

Some people like to seat around under the block without wearing a mask especially at night when no one is checking. GOV should look into this area.

I haven’t heard any mention of allowing camping and BBQ pits reopening. Does the comments at video point 26:28 mean Camping is allowed after 21st June 2021? If camping is between Singaporean family members(less than 5 members) and mask on unless eating or drinking? This was clearly indicated when the Phase 2 Hightened news came out but nothing said during this reduction Phase report.

I feel and think they should extend till Oct when 75% vaccinated as there still possibilities of relapse and recursing happening of unlinked case. Temporary suppressed only not permanently removed by it root. Hopefully there will not be another heightened alert alarm again.

I think it would be fair ... if Mandarin is going to be used, then at least Malay msûst be too, it is after all our National Language. Otherwise, my opinion is: consider sticking to only English, and provide subtitles for all languages
