My Slavic Magic Classes Are Moving! Join me 8/30 for Voda Slavic Water Magic WITCHCRAFTWORKSHOPS.COM

Madame Pamita teaches Slavic Magic workshops on the last Wednesday of each month at 4PM PT/5PM MT/6PM CT/7PM ET. All workshops are recorded and all registrants will be emailed a link to the recordings 24 hours after the workshop. For all workshops, no materials are required and no prior magical experience is necessary, but a basic understanding of folk magic is helpful. People of all spiritual paths and ancestry are welcome.

Upcoming Classes:

August 30: Voda: Slavic Water Magic
Water is life and Slavic people from the most ancient times have revered rivers, lakes, seas, wells, gentle rains, and springs. Water is seen as living or dead, healing or depleting and is the special domain of spirits such as the Rusalky and Vodyanyk. .In this workshop, Ukrainian diaspora witch, Madame Pamita will lead you on an adventure into the Slavic world where you can explore Slavic beliefs about water that are very different than what you may know about this element. You’ll learn the dualistic view of water, meet the spirits of water, celebrate Slavic water holidays, learn slavic spells with water, and have the mysteries of the Water of Life and Water of Death revealed to you. You too will revere water as a spirit and a powerful medium for cleansing, transformation and magic.

September 27: Vereteno: Slavic Weaving and Spinning Magic
“We are the weavers, we are the web” – weaving and spinning magic goes back to the most ancient times and is seen as a powerful magic of destruction and creation. In this workshop, Ukrainian diaspora witch, Madame Pamita, will take you on a journey to discover the unique Slavic cloth traditions, meet the spinning and weaving spirits, learn spinning spells and weaving magic and even get insight into how you can bring spinning and weaving into your own magical practice.

October 25: The Myth and Magic of Baba Yaga
Many people know Baba Yaga as the wicked old witch of many Slavic fairy tales, but she is so much more! Is she just a scary ogre who eats children or is she the embodiment of something much more powerful? Join Ukrainian diaspora witch, Madame Pamita, as she takes you on a journey through the story of Baba Yaga back to the ancient shamanic origins of this magnificent crone spirit. Open the bony fence, enter into the hut on chicken legs, and ride in her mortar and pestle. You’ll learn about her connection to the fiery oven, weaving and spinning, her children the forest creatures, and rituals for honoring Baba Yaga and inviting in her blessings.

November 29: Kolyada: Slavic Winter Holidays and Rituals
The Winter Solstice has been a special time for Slavic people since ancient times and in this workshop, Ukrainian diaspora witch, Madame Pamita will take you into the winter wonderland that is the series of Winter Solstice celebrations: You’ll begin with St. Andrew’s Day, the ancient Kalyta, and move through St. Mykolaya day, the ancient pre-Christian ritual of Kolyada, all the way up to the holy water celebration of Vodokhreshcheis and more. You’ll learn the magic of the Pavuk, or winter solstice spider and the Didukh, the solstice home of the ancestor spirits.

December 27: Pich: Slavic Hearth Magic
The pich, the big wood stove found in every Slavic home in days past, was more than just a place to cook food or warm the house. It was also the place where the house spirit lived: the domovyk, the lord of the house, the guardian of the home, and the embodiment of our ancestors. Join Ukrainian diaspora witch, Madame Pamita as she teaches the Slavic magic of Living Fire and connecting with your domovyk. You’ll explore the sacred spaces of the Slavic home, how the pich was used both materially and magically, the spiritual rituals of the pich, the magic of Living Fire and how to incorporate these ancient practices into your modern day practice.
