please i need you help, after setting up my google ads i can find discovery ads in the ads options. i only see skippable ads and in feed video. what did i do wrong in the setup, please can you guide to acitivate

Thanks for showing the earning side, because most I watch about google ads only talk about the losing side. I have only campaigned twice and I gained at least 40 subscribers each time. One thing I don't understand is that when I made a campaign after a month another video that wasn't the one from the campaign got 6 thousand views and brought me 300 subscribers, does this have something to do with the run on google ads?

I would love to advertise on youtube doing discovery ads all day and night but the thing is I already tried doing discovery ads last year and youtube 😑 showed my work from home video 📹 to the wrong audience which was rapper and gaming channels and refuse to refund me my $90 after sending screenshots proof of this in the youtube live chat SMFH... I setup my discovery ad 100% the correct way and the keywords I chose was "how to make money online" & "make money online".. but yet showed to the wrong audience... How do I avoid this from happening if I decide to run another discovery ad man because I'm not into loosing my hard earned money ever again online I wanna see results straight up🤔?
