OMG! So true. I remember people being afraid of mail, wiping grocery bags down and everyone having to spend time at home with their families. Now, who cares? People are actually complaining about the possibility of having to wear a mask on a crowded plane. F that! Just the behavior we've seen alone is enough to keep me off a plane forever.

I worked as a cashier at a grocery store that was half a mile from a very large hospital during the pandemic. Nurses would come in on their lunch break to get something to eat. They came in looking shell shocked because they had just lost four patients that morning, and they had three more not looking good for the afternoon. I felt so sorry because all I could do is give them a warm smile and sympathetic elbow bump. Those were the true heros!
