What's a fibroid?
It's a mass,a ball like mass.It can be present at different parts in body,most commonly being uterus.
What's is Fibroid uterus?
When a mass like structure is present inside the uterus or is sitting on the uterus,it's called fibroid uterus.
How many fibroid can be present in uterus?
1 to many
What are the symptoms of fibroid uterus?
Heavy bleeding
Irregular but heavy bleeding
Backache
Sometimes no symptoms
How to diagnose Fibroids?
On ultrasonography of lower pelvis
How to treat fibroid?
No medication can help.
The treatment I'd surgical removal of fibroid & in extreme condition removal of uterus.
Does having fibroid affect reproductive health or fertility??
Mostly No
Can fibroid recur??
YES
