Apparently this happens because Windows keeps installing old drivers. Man, how can you sell "world-leading" software for it to perform dumb BS like this? Genuinely upset about this, made me lose my work for no reason.

the first method wouldent work because the button was greyed out and i couldn’t press it. then i followed the steps for the second method and now my pc wont turn back on and it’s been 5 hours. great tutorial

Thanks. I think it's the update pushed by Windows Update that made this error. I saw it on the WU "Advanced Micro Devices, Inc bla bla", I didn't touch it but then later it's gone so it must've been automatically installed. After that, the error occurs.

I found another quick and simple solution for those who cannot roll back the drivers because it's grayed out.

*Explanation:*

When you install or update AMD Adrenalin, AMD doesn't delete the package installer, it stays on your hard drive most likely in the location C:\AMD\. All you need to do is tell Windows to use that driver. You do not need to clean-install Adrenalin.

*Step 1:*

*Step 2:*

Open Device Manager -> Select your graphics card -> Update Driver -> Browse my computer for drivers -> Let me pick from a list -> Have Disk -> Browse to the folder in Step 1.

*Step 3:*

Select the .inf file and install it. Done, this procedure takes less than 5 minutes.

Hi there I really need help. Option 2, I have followed all the steps up until @6:30 where it says factory reset. The option is greyed out and I am unable to select it.

How do I get it to allow me to check factory reset?
