Having one built on the east coast of Canada from a builder here (Backcountry Custom Canoe's) and it is interesting to see your boats and his and the differences and similarities. Love the sheer and recurve as aesthetics are important even when they do nothing for performance on the water. Any vehicle that looks good sitting still will turn more heads than the "ugly duckling" that wins the competition. Tinting the fabric is another "nothing for performance" part of your system.
