I have 2 of those, but the best radio under $50 is the Tidradio H3! It's tiny, multiband, dual watch, dual display, Bluetooth, 2, 400 mA battery, USB-C charging, pc, and phone programming, unlockable, etc..

The GMRS9R has to be programmed as a UV-9 with Chirp. I've had mine for quite awhile. Great little radios. I have them coupled with mic's and use them for atv's. The Radioddity GM30 is pretty much the Baofeng GM-15. The GM-15 is even programmed using the Radioddity GM30 software. I have several GM-15's. Also very nice. Paired with 771's I've gotten at most 10 miles simplex. A little weak on the audio at that range, but they worked. I don't have the pro model though. Great radios here, but you might be sleeping on the GM-21 by Baofeng. I can't be sure as I just ordered one. Reviews look promising. I'll know next week when Amazon gets it here.
