Trump threatens China with new 50% tariff

Donald Trump says he will impose an additional 50% tariff on China if it does not withdraw its retaliatory tariffs on the US.

He also threatened to halt all trade talks with Beijing.

The US president announced last week he would impose a 34% tariff on China.

Global markets fell again on Monday as investors worry about the impact of the slew of tariffs on companies.
