I have read The christmas sisters by Sarah Morgan and Letters from father christmas by Tolkien. They were both good. Now I am reading The most wonderful time of the year byJoanna Bolouri.

I meant to sit down and plan my Christmas reads but I haven’t. I want to read No Exit as that is set at Christmas. I have requested Twelve Strange Days Of Christmas on Netgalley. It is a collection of ghost stories. I always make a point of reading a ghost story at Christmas. At the moment I am reading The Haunting Of Lannister Hall by Amy Cross. It is not that scary or spooky at the moment and I am nearly halfway through but I am enjoying it. I really want a nice Christmas book that doesn’t involve a cheesy romance. This is no use to you whatsoever but my favourite book set at Christmas was a self published book which I cannot remember the name of. If I can find it on Goodreads I will let you know. It was about a woman who gives birth around Christmastime and her baby gets kidnapped by a woman. As weird as that may sound I think it was because there was such a contrast between the woman’s hopelessness and depression of her baby being gone and everyone else getting on with their Christmas plans. I just remember reading it and not feeling festive at all and reading it and having such a warm Christmas feeling and feeling happy.
