I'm a 70 year old man sitting here crying like a baby! My grandmother was a self taught pianist, she played in a small rural Methodist Church every Sunday for years! "Rock of Ages" was her favorite! Whenever I hear it played I can see her at her old 1890's era upright piano playing and singing!

Is beautiful to listen to when you feel the weight of the world pressing upon you and can reflect what Christ has done for us....tears can flow, still the Sun shines from the Heavens.

This is my favorite out of all your beautiful pieces. I sing it to the Lord almost daily as I begin my time with Jesus, especially after confessing sins to Him. This hymn is so precious to me, and I can see also to many other saints who have commented here. Beautifully done. Straightforward, unpretentious and moving.

I do not think non-musicians realise that to play something like this well, when even tiny errors (a miniscule hesitation, a note a tiddly bit too loud or too soft) can sound awful is far more difficult than playing something fast, loud and flashy.
