Great recording and an interesting explanation of the structure of the piece. Yes, the coda is refreshing, like a lemon sorbet. Two different key centers but the melody is the s.âme.

Soulful indeed. Now I know why I love this song so much. I also enjoy the other songs in the album Duo Tones of course!!!!

mon ame. The explaination is great so that we can see and understand your process. But, it's wonderful where it takes you with your eyes closed -- the physical impact of the music. Ooo, that's the magic.

Love the piece and both of your playing, introspective yet playful. Seems like a happy soul! Thanks for sharing.

I like the mint juice as the ending section. All the chord changes make sense in the context, for sure.

Beautiful. The 4:3 cross-rhythms, phrasing, and outro have got me counting…tapping with my sole.

I find myself feeling most of the tune in 2 (or 4) except for the coda. Is it just me? Lovely composition and the duet is spectacular!

As a drummer, I would only play with brushes. This tune is kind a airy, so sticks would crush it. And as a drummer, you should always hear the chords, to play along and hear the form of the tune. Very tasteful. Absolutely great tune - keep on doing it.

Great song! I like the kind of « neo-irish » vibe in the coda.
