Actually who measures board length in inches? No one. It is always in feet so L' x w''xth'' /12 works just as well.

Dude I try time and time again to explain it to people. They just can't understand. One lady was like "oh so how long it is". Any other time throughout all of human existence most people would be dead because of dumb they are.
