I love that you want to save as many of the original features as possible while making the house your own style.

What I love the most about your house is that it feels alive. You’re not following trends, you’re true to yourself. Your house feels like home. Constantly changing, imperfect and so beautiful. Thanks for sharing your life project, Drew. ❤

Such vision, and such an accomplishment. Thank you for resisting the urge to "trend design" this classic house. Amazing.

Incredible transformation! I am specially impressed with how you enhanced the flow of the house, and how you remained true to it's original character. I'm a Realtor and I see a lot of makeovers where the charm has been completely removed in favor of Home Depot esthetics and it just makes me want to cry. These kinds of homes aren't going to be built again. They came into being when art and craftmanship were much more a part of life. So, Bravo! to you for doing an outstanding job of reviving this beautiful home!

Excited to see the main bathroom renovation. I love that you did Marie's bedroom before your own, so kind.

Not only is your home breathtaking, it is warm, inviting, and completely livable. So many designers create spaces where it seems the addition of people will ruin their style. Well done!

So glad you are considering putting the tapestry in the hallway..it will give it’s own regal presence and not fight with all the other decor in your room. Everything is coming together so well.

I’m so grateful to see unfinished projects and versions 1, 2, 3 of something. A lot of remodeling/designer content is intimidating to try because it’s going from zero to ta daah perfection, but you’re experimenting and editing, and it looks beautiful while feeling real.

Drew, your home has really been a project of love and it shows. You, Justin, and Marie have done a magical job in making this home reflect your nature, while returning it to so much of its true original architectural style. You have a home that is welcoming and beautiful! Enjoy! Thank you for taking us with you on this special adventure!

Love it. And I'm so fond of the decision to put the tapestry in the stairway! I think it will add a lot of dramatic flair to a otherwise 'plain' passage way. And like that it won't suffer too much from sun related damage because it's much less exposed.

Holy transformation in just a year. Every room that you've done so far is stunning. Painting the house makes such a difference on curb appeal. I think my favorite room to date is the living room with the amazing beams. Kudos to you and Justin for working as a team and making your home into a show piece.

I really like so many of the rooms! The “light and airy” living room is one of my favorites, but the biggest impact for me, is the outside paint colors! The courtyard transformation is beautiful

I love that you don't hid all the mess and storage makes it feel so much more relatable than just a perfectly done up house! BEAUTIFUL as always Drew!

The whole house is gorgeous, but my favorite is the view from dining room into the coffee bar area...perfection!

Ever since your first tour I’ve been casually planning how I’d do your backyard if it was mine so I thought I’d share. I would build a long thin build a garage on the side of the house with the telephone pole as far left as you could and meeting up with the house on the right side of the house starting where the house ends and ending at the back of the property. It would have a garage door on the front and arched doors on the side leading to the backyard space. On the back wall I would have 2 large stone 1/4 circle raised beds each nestled in a corner and high enough to act as seating. In each of the raised beds I would have a tree under planted with succulents. Between the beds I’d have a wall fountain. I would tile the ground with some spaces cut out for plants. I would replace the fencing with stucco walls like the courtyard and have Bougainville and an Espalier lemon tree growing up them. I’d have a dinning set and/or a small pool towards the house. Of course this design is taking place in my imagination where there is no budget or measurements or property codes but I had fun coming up with it and maybe you’ll enjoy reading it.

My absolute favorite parts of your home:
- the courtyard (I mean… 🤤🤩😍🪴
- the first living room that is beside the entryway
- the view looking from the dining room into the coffee bar space
- the kitchen (again… What a stunner!!)
