Thank you so much! I have had my miter saw for a few years and always thought it should be able to open up like this but could never figure out how! My latch thing was stuck so I always thought it was where it should be. I tapped it out of the way and heavans gates opened up!

Thank you so much. We had a couple cuts to do and could not get out small miter saw unlocked. We were both pretty sure what needed to be done, but the pin would not budge. We were on the second floor and our large miter saw is in the basement. We're older, so that's a lot of stairs when trying to cut right. I popped online and found your video. Thank you so very much. It was just what we expected. Somehow the rubber cap went missing so neither of us could grip it and thought maybe our memory was messing with us. Nope. We just needed a Crescent wrench. Thank you!
