It's releasing with oreo which means it has project treble which is basically a standardized interface between the hardware and OS meaning that *any* treble OS / OS update should work on *any* treble phone.

I'm picking up thr G6 Plus tomorrow in Blue baecause that's currently the only colour they have in stock. I've even ordered extra cables and it thankfully has NFC!

NFC is in the EU version but for some reason not in the US and UK versions

The G6 DOES have NFC in the UK. Not sure why you said otherwise? The website confirms this, as does the phone you reviewed - timestamp 6:42 you can clearly see it mentions NFC under 'connected devices' in the settings menu.

It has got NFC and the sound can be adjusted with the Dolby sound adjuster. 👍😎
