With some of the wild rule changes Mike said, some of them could actually work quite well in the All Star game, like the turnover point deduction. The one I would like to see in the game is a Flagrant 1 being a 2 minute timeout for the player

Pacers fan here, just wanna add if Myles Bruce or Buddy were hitting any of their 3s at an expected rate, we likely see the Lakers change up the defensive scheme almost instantly. Caitlin Cooper made the point that teams have already tried blitzing the Pacers like this but I think our normally deadly outside shooting makes them have to change up the defensive scheme in a way that reopens the floor for Rese and the rest of the offense (also having AD as the secondary defender/pass denier is literally insane)

i think the reason there isn’t the same rivalry’s in the nba is mainly the fans and player loyalty. In the premier league players that are rivals with another team would be scrutinised and respected the club they play for enough that they would never join a rival. There is also geographic discrepancies where cities close by genuinely hate their rivals (such as arsenal and totteham in north london)

The Lakers only got Jarred Vanderbilt back since Dec. 2nd, and they've had other guys in and out. It's no surprise their defense got better once everyone's healthy.
