The Case Against Profanity

"Profanity is the effort of a feeble brain to express itself forcibly." - Spencer W Kimball

But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. (Colossians 3:8)

Let no corrupt communication proceed out of your mouth, but that which is good to the use of edifying, that it may minister grace unto the hearers. (Ephesians 4:29)

Kimball puts a person down. I agree it is a drop in communication skills: A drop in Language skills but we need to empower rather than put a person down.
