Go's really out here "Catching them all"

Honestly think GOs goal will change into wanting to become a Pokemon Professor or Researcher.

i do really like gou's character. but he still needs a lot of improvement as a trainer he has so much potential. i would love to see him get another goal to become a pokemon professor because he is so interrested in them.

God he’s such a complicated yet fascinating character at the same time 🤣 I really do think Go will learn some of the aspects of battling. Catching Pokémon may be his goal, but it won’t last forever. Pretty much what you said bro, hopefully the character development will show us in due course. Great video! 👊🏼🔥

I can see from the start Goh really likes doing research. I can see him becoming a professor. :) Goh has become my favorite character since Clemont whom i held pretty high up with Ash. Goh has potential :)

His goal of catching Mew is actually more realistic than his dream of having a living Pokédex, in order to do that, he'd not only have to catch every Legendary, (which either can't be done or SHOULDN'T be done) but the main thing is new Pokémon are being discovered all the time, so the dream is basically impossible

Maybe Go will be more open to battle for tougher catches

It's not the matter of catching it's the matter of training them it is very important rather than catching all.

4 months late and here I am commenting, lmao.
Personally, I really like Goh as a character since I relate to him a lot and he feels more real. Also, he has had a lot of development as a trainer and a person so far. We get to see him look after his pokémon and become more selfless too. I have a huge feeling that Goh won’t catch every species of pokémon or Mew. Perhaps he’ll encounter Mew one day and become friends with it, but he’ll also realize that maybe Mew doesn’t want to be caught by anyone. After this, Ash could help him find something new to focus on. I want to add on that he is certainly a polarizing character... Some people like him and some people wish he didn’t exist! I understand that it’s annoying for many people how he catches pokémon so easily, and it may not be the most fun thing to watch. I agree that this is a small flaw that sticks out, surely the directors are aware of that. Surely they’re going somewhere with this because even though he’s a rookie, he can’t really go through the whole series catching pokémon faster than lightning. He has a lot of potential and I’ll give my reasons why I think so:

1) If you analyze his character, you can tell that he has improved immensely as a trainer and a person.

2) His pokémon are getting more screen time and we get to see more of him looking after them, so perhaps the series is going somewhere with this.

3) His goal is the main reason some people don’t like him, but he has been battling more recently. Maybe, it’s foreshadowing a new goal? Surely the company are aware that there would be mixed feelings with a goal like his current one. We *have* seen him alter his goal before, maybe he’ll find something brand new despite the fact that he has been labeled as a collector and the guy that wants to catch Mew.

4) His captures are becoming more meaningful. He isn’t catching a bunch of pokémon per episode, usually no more than two. For example, Cubone. Ash has spoiled us with his method of bonding with pokémon before catching them, so seeing Goh do the same thing shows Ash’s impact on him. There was his Heracross, which was through a trade. He battled against Team Rocket and sent them blasting off again within the span of a couple seconds, which helped him connect with it more. He accidentally caught Sobble which drove people mad, but it’s not his fault! After bringing it into a battle leading it to run away, he blamed himself and made it up to Sobble by saving it. The Flygon capture was also brilliant. My last example will be Raichu. He didn’t bond with it a lot before capturing it but helped it when Team Rocket stole a bunch of Pikachu, which led to it evolving to save them.

The improvements may be subtle but he is becoming better. It’s okay if you dislike Goh, but remember to be fair... Don’t make bold assumptions like “He neglects his pokémon” or “He’s selfish” because I can easily contradict you with ACTUAL facts. Have a good day :D

i really like Goh. it makes me sad when i see people hating on him just bc they say he catches pokemon too easily & quickly or that he’s “rude” or selfish, like i get that everyone has their own opinions but....pls realize that he’s a NEW character & still has a lot of development ahead of him :(

I just hate Go he doesn't interact with his pokemon, I hate that they make it so easy for him to catch pokemon without weaken them. He doesn't train his pokemon like Raboot. He ignores Raboot just like Cubone. Cubone was happy to join Go but do you see Go with Cubone no. He no where in site just like other pokemon he has caught.

I just hope that part of Goh’s journey is realizing he can’t catch everything without battling, which means that like Ash he’ll need to train and grow stronger to reach his goal. Most of his catches seem unearned so far, but I look forward to seeing him interact with his hordes of Pokémon in upcoming episodes.

If Goh catches Mew, then Ash should catch Arceus

Off topic, but Ash should catch another shiny!

Right now Go's only purpose is to capture pokemon to be stored at Professor Sakuragi's Lab for further research. This is why they allowed him to capture as many pokemon in many regions that he travel with Ash as he could, without any battle.

Plot Twist, Ash will be Aura Guardian and Goh will take over main protagonist Pokemon series, new adventure to catch every pokemon with his pokeballs until mew.

Goh is missing the whole point of being a Pokemon trainer and don't get me wrong he did catch a lot of Pokemon in the series so far but he should have battle them before he can catch them like most trainers. .Goh's only purpose is to capture pokemon to be stored at Professor Sakuragi's Lab for further research, he doesn't train any of his pokemon or try to help them get stronger like Ash's training skills with his pokemon. Plus he doesn't understand his Pokemon's feeling like Scorbunny in episode 17 after it evolve to Raboot, which cause a fallout between those two. But despite that Raboot still care about Goh even thought it's personality change and keeps it's distance to Go until he can finally accept his full commited role as a trainer.✌ Maybe if Goh realize his error mistake in the first place then he could do something to change himself as a better trainer for Raboot. At least this is a good start for him and Raboot at the end of this episode 22 so maybe in the future raboot could evolve into Cinderace to become powerful and this mature so it and Goh could become better partners. As for Mew well my guess is in two years seasons in the future he'll probably abandon his only goal to catch Mew and he may finally realised some more important as a trainer.

7:25 Well...
Technically, you can have a Pokemon Battle in Pokemon Go! 😄
Go is just not interested in Pokemon Battling! 😄
I guess he's more of a Pokemon Collector!? 😐

3:20 Wrong. You forget, Ash caught thirty Tauros. All in all, he has 81 Pokemon.
