Lol ... a litte off on that Detroit Lions analysis. Oops. Michael Mayer Regular Season - 27 rec / 304 yds / 2 TDs. Sam LaPorta regular season - 86 rec / 889 yds / 10 TDs.

Oh how things turned out. Detroit gets a B and has the best rookie TE in LaPorta, Gibbs is outstanding and Branch is killing it LaPorta and Gibbs scored in the Lions past two rounds of the playoffs.

He did the assignment, so that keeps him out of an F grade. But it does appear that, as with most things, instead of claiming everyone was a reach because Mel liked a player better than the teams pick. This time Mel's grading knowing how much will depend on coaching and health in addition to getting the right players.

Ballard NAILED this draft. We got our guy at qb. Literally all 11 other picks were SOLID starters and good depth. #fortheshoe I thought eagles, Steelers, giants, and few others including the colts all get A— A+ IMO u know I’m missing another team or 2 as well.
