10 Reasons YOU should OWN and CARRY A GUN in 2024!

Happy Presidents Day 2024. Presidents Day is a day to celebrate great presidents like George Washington. A day to celebrate good men and good presidents. If there ever were a holiday in 2024 that served to remind you to own and carry a gun, it would be President’s Day, wouldn’t it?

So this is a short video to give you 10 Reasons to own and carry a gun in the year 2024. There are hundreds, possibly thousands of other reasons, but these are specific to President’s Day.

Yep. Couldn't agree more....especially that my right to self-defense is God given. I've carried since I was in my twenties. I'm over seventy now and carry because it's not only habit but because, 1) I'm too old to run, 2) I'm too sore to fight...but I can still pull a trigger. Hopefully I'll never have to.

When asked why I carry a gun, my answer goes like this. I have the gun in the same vein that I have a jack, lug wrench, spare tire, first aid kit, fire extinguisher, canteen of water and an extra jacket, and hope I never need any of them.

I'm 66 and I have a disability and I carry. I can't run or defend myself like I could even 5 years ago, so to even those odds I carry. You're right Tony, evil is everywhere and can strike at any time.

Thank you for pointing that out. I loved it .I have carried a gun for many years. I learned young in the boy scouts and further up in the scouts to be prepared. I'm a combat vet and a former police officer and I'm never without a pistol. Somebody asked what I was afraid of and I said not a damn thing. Remember, the life you save may be your own .

As a retired Law Enforcement officer of 27 years the best reason I can think of is simply. It's the 1st line of defense ( equalizer ) for an individual since all other defenses and help are minutes to hours away. The perfect example ( who's perfect ? ) is minutes to respond but there are cases when it's hours and sometimes never. A firearm and minute men created this nation and firearms are keeping it today. Japan ( WW2 ) would not attack the USA because of all the armed individuals ( a civilian standing army ) . They called us a Sleeping Tiger.
