The UN Secretary-General will be at the Security Council stakeout to deliver remarks on climate. Antonio Guterres will be making his statement as the highest temperatures on record are being registered throughout the world and large parts of the United States and the Mediterranean are under heat advisory.

Repeating “climate change, ” and “CO2, ” and “fossil fuels, ” is not enough. Dialogue should include pollution by corporations, that is, pollution of not only the air, but water, soil, AND food. It’s all connected.

Sorry, but they're not record temperatures, even if they so want them to be. Apparently now they're measuring ground temperature and not air temperature.
