Well I found this video because I'm low-key in despair because of the hair in my actual drawing. and tbh I found so many mistakes I do while drawing hair, that I'm question my old drawings. Like: Ay, it's so easy! Why did I struggle so much with the hair my whole life? Thank you so much!

There is something with brush settings though, your texture brush makes strands, if I use the same brush you use it just makes a single round brush with frayed edges. It doesn't make hair lines it just acts like a normal brush.
Edit: I had scattering turned on.

Can we have a tutorial on the types of layers on photoshop and what they do?? I know about the color layer but I dont know how to paint after that. do I continue on the same layer? I'd appreciate any guidance from you guys or the comments.
