Bought mine a little over a year ago, relative to me it was a 1k drop. About the amount I saved on gas. Not to mention inflation knocking out ~6.5% of the value of the loan (2.5% interest rate is awesome!) I'm happy more people can afford it now.

My wife and I just took delivery of our Model X last month which is an awesome car, was our first EV and we love it. I’m glad they are finally dropping prices down, however, the price being lowered on our configuration $12k in one month does feel pretty bad to be honest. We did get the 10, 000 free supercharging miles at least so we did get something by taking delivery before the price cuts.

Having just purchased my MYP in the last month, I feel like the overnight 20% cut in value is actually very damaging to me, given I financed my vehicle. Bad if I get in an accident. Worse if I need/want to sell anytime soon.

I’m also happy for the future owners! I got my MY Rwd LFP in late December. Luckily I got the SuC credits, $ 3500 carryover from my M3LR and $7000 tax kickback. But still a couple of grands in difference.

I feel terrible for anybody who bought a model y last year. Overpaid and did not get the big tax credit (if they qualify). That's also without mentioning everything they took off of the 2020 first year model. Nothing like starting the year knowing you just got screwed out of 13 to 20k by Tesla and Elon greed.

I took order of a model 3 rwd the first day of the price cuts, and I was able to get one already in inventory, just have to drive 4 hours to pick it up. Countdown is one week to delivery. I got a lease, and Tesla gave me a killer deal. I've never been more excited in my life, I feel like I've really made it in life to be in the tesla family.

@Tailosive EV - The Tesla Model 3/Y Performance doesn't qualify for the tax credit, and if you modify the options (excluding software) above $55k it does not qualify unless either of them have 7 seats at which point they need to be under $80k which you can't reach with the options available.

I took delivery on 12/29 and got it for $56490 for gray/white, oh well paid over $2k from the current price. that is fine. too bad I don't qualify for the tax credit. lol
