Is JIUFEN, TAIWAN Worth It? (Day trip from TAIPEI) 🇹🇼

You simply can't come to Taiwan and not visit the most iconic village in the country. Jiufen is an absolutely stunning seaside mountain town that was once a very prosperous gold mining part of Taiwan, nowadays its known for traditional tea houses, hiking, taro balls and lots more!
In todays video we hike to the top of Mt Keelung and check out the famous lantern-lined, Jiufen Old Street, at night.
Most people come to the town for a day visit (as its only 1hr from Taipei), but is it worth an overnight trip? We say ABSOLUTELY - Jiufen is one of the prettiest places we have ever seen and a MUST visit if you're spending time in Taiwan.

I have been to the mountain city many times and it is a must go place whenever I go back to Taiwan.

There is a beautiful traditional tea house in the end of the old street. It’s easily missed, but worth visiting and having specially picked tea. I think you guys will love it!

Jiu-Feng, my favourite place in Taiwan. From the video, the place seems ok. Because before pandemic, the place was packed in every single days, even on rainy Monday. It was hard to move. Can't even get a seat in the restaurants. Pretty much like weekend in Sydney Fish Market (sorry, I am a Sydneysider but born in Taiwan). Once again, please do enjoy your time in Taiwan. I hope Taiwan holiday leaves you guys with heaps of beautiful 💖 memories.

The nearby Tea Kettle Mountain is slightly more challenging but more scenic. Strongly recommend it if you still have chances to do so.
