For those who don't know, Haulover Inlet was cut through from the river to the ocean by a bunch of amateurs. They dumped all the sand directly in front of the cut, with only a short, shallow channel. Boats coming out are facing waves of full ocean surf from several directions, breaking on random piles of sand. When the wind and tide and river get cranking, it gets worse.

Quartered a little far and almost got turned broadside but overall nicely done especially compared to the tractor drivers trying to plow straight through.
