the fact so many skins came back with a price tag, on top of those skins coming from old updates, those old updates being anniversary updates, of remixes, of volumes, literally recycling garbage over and over and over it’s so depressing. almost incredible blizzard was able to create such a magical game and tear it down slowly and painfully into what it is today.

Fun fact: When you use your ultimate as Wrecking Ball's 8-ball skin, it makes the sound of pool balls colliding with each other! I'm a huge sucker for ultimate line variations so I loved this little detail.

fun fact, gilded hunter sombra when it initially came out, the fine print said that the skin would be available for purchase. People were very angry when you could get it in the Halloween event

If you're at an old game store, and you find old copies of overwatch 1, just pop them open and check if they have any codes in them. I got noir widowmaker by offering the guy $5 for that piece of paper. I only played overwatch 2 (besides a few games when it was free on Nintendo switch a while back) but the code was still valid and I now own the skin!

I've gone on record before saying there is only one skin in Overwatch I would pay for at this point in time. I have all the skins for all my mains I could ask for, but Brick Bastion evaded me and I still regret it. I at least have Sandcastle to ease my pain, but Brick Bastion is a skin I need them to re-release. I will pay 20 bucks for it, it's that good.

You forgot a few challenge skins, like sandcastle bastion from summer games. There are also a few OWL skins that have never returned past their original release - haroeris ana, ange de la mort widowmaker, pirate ship bastion and mm-mei
