So I have a major theory about destiny and it is the traveller and darkness are just containments of light and darkness . The elements of the light Solar, arc, void and darkness stasis aren’t elements of light but merely elements empowered by paracasual powers. That’s why Rhulk has Solar power. It’s not light corrupted but the elements empowered by a different form. The pyramids are shaped as prisms and prisms split light into its colour elements similar to the murals in Vow of the Disciple. However the mural depicts the black fleet splitting a traveller but into releasing elements like Solar arc void and many more. The darkness convoy in the wellspring and throne world public has a ball inside it, i think this shows a traveller trapped in a pyramid. This relates to what Savathun said about multiple travellers and maybe trapping them stops the elements (Solar, void etc.) from being empowered by the light.

I think this all links to the vex where they will be the ultimate reason for destiny. The vex created the traveller and pyramids to be containments of dark and light then sent back in history to create the vex finality in the future. We have seen Vex can contain light and use darkness. They found the black garden at the end of time transformed it like they do with worlds but had to create forms to control the light and dark (or the winnower and gardener, they are formless but there power can still be present and contained). We know the the black garden is the reason for the vex.

My other theory is the witness is just a disciple of the Winnower.

In the salvations edge raid when running from 3rd encounter to 4th the witness literally says he is not the winnower just the first one created by it

It's also stated that the Black Fleet are some kind of autonomous life forms themselves.
The Pyramid on the Moon was so saturated with Nezarecs original Darkness ability (Nightmares) that it was giving off a resonance as though it "missed" having a master controlling it.
Then compounding it further with the Ghost recovery Mission in the Europan Pyramid where it was asked if we ever found the Pilot,
in which the answer was a vague, no.
From the way the Black Fleet operates and the sheer volume of them that still exist, now without the Witness to command them, their just standing by... Menacingly.

Yeah just watch @MynameisByf video. They covered this pretty well, the Winnower is the veil, the traveler is the gardener. The story was just an old tail told by the precursor rase that became the witness. The darkness and light are not good or evil, the veil and the traveler are not good or evil. The witness just wanted to use them both to create complete control. If you want to argue those stories represent something else then good luck never being satisfied.

Assuming the Winnower is real that is. The Winnower could be a mythological analogy to anthropomorphize the tendency for life to adopt darwinistic patterns.

As cool as it sounds, people are tired of Destiny’s story and with The Final Shape providing a satisfactory ending for the entirety of this 10 years, many players will simply leave.

If anything Destiny may have the same issues as Marvel, with their story being bigger in scale with an enemy like Kang and the multiverse, but eventually simply not caring about it.

This is very incorrect. The witness is the final enemy. The Winnower is not evil neither is the gardener. They are both nuetral. The Winnower and gardener created the flower game. The Gardener kept losing the game so The Gardener got into fight with The Winnower. This fight created the bungie paraverse. When the fight was over the Gardener wanted to change the game. This new rule created the Witness and the Traveler. The Winnower and Gardener veiw the entire story of destiny as a game of chess. We are not real to them.
