I mean... that's usually how things work. The further you get into development, the more work is needed- especially as it becomes clearer what it is you're building. Are the vacancies because people left? or because those are the jobs they need filled? Don't just say they're the first without actually knowing. The fact that they don't have those jobs doesn't mean they did have them at one point.

So to play devil’s advocate, having worked in Human Resources for recruiting, an uptick like this where it looks like whole departments need to be staffed could be a good thing and here’s why. This is conjecture, but perhaps they recognized that they already had quite the timeline to get everything they wanted to do done and to the level of quality they profess. But in order to do that they may be realizing they need to scale up. So accordingly they would need to beef up their staff so they can deliver the solid product they are being hyped as having. And perhaps pigs will fly and they in reality just have horrible company culture and everyone is jumping ship to avoid the dumpster fire release they see coming. It’d be interesting therefore to know if these job postings are for new positions or backfilling/replacing current positions that became vacant. Backfilling would equal dumpster fire. New positions for expansion would mean a company that cares and is willing to pay the cash to get what is needed to make a potentially glorious Star Wars game.

Star Wars Eclipse was just a fake reveal for a game that will never come out, but moreso it was created to get a pump in their stock price at Disney.

It’s sad that Disney won’t give them a bigger budget or put their focuses on projects like Star Wars eclipse or the KOTOR remake it would make them a lot of money I feel a lot of fans are disappointed in Disney.
