The Best Travel Fishing Rod Tube? (Plano 4448 Rod Tube Review)

This is a quick review of the Plano 4448 Plano Rod Tube. I have used this to travel a few times and absolutely love it. Below is a link to the rod tube on Amazon.

Trapper Tackle has the best hooks I have ever used. I am 100% they will change the way you land fish.

I took this tube to guatemala with 3 rods inside, 2 spinning and 1 casting. If your spinning rods have big line guides to the first guide (the biggest) you will find an issue fitting more than 2 rods. Thats why I added a casting cause the line guides were micro. I flew Avianca and they did not allow me to have it as a carry on. They also removed the locks I had on it since im guessing they opened to check it .

I myself own 2 of these rod tubes. Best tube for the money. Wish they made a 60inch one. :(

Thank you for your review! I don't fish, but I do need a tube to carry academic posters. I needed to know if the tube was hollow and solid (as opposed to having compartments and flexible) and would be suitable for the a rolled up 42" x 48" poster. Thanks again!

Great review. Definitely solid looking. It looks very durable. Only drawback for me. Would be the need to take the reels off. But for the price point probably can't beat that
