Do you create a Job Scorecard for every position in your company?
If not, you're making a huge mistake.
Not having a Job Scorecard (or a clear idea of what you're hiring for) is the biggest hiring mistake I see entrepreneurs make.
If you don't know what you're hiring for and what success looks like with that position, the chances of hiring an A player are slim to none.
I heard about this concept from the book "Who" by Geoff Smart & Randy Street. In their book, they talk about the 4 S's of hiring.
After reading the book, I went online expecting to find a Job Scorecard template or instructions on how to create a job scorecard.
*crickets*
I found nothing...only one obscure template on a third party site. So I created & refined this process over the last few years while hiring 35+ people & I'm sharing it here with you.
