I think most of us have that phase once in our lives. You think you're in love and fear the loneliness...But after you realise it's for the best.
Empathy is slightly possible but I cannot sympathise after how many chances this guy got. He doesn't respect her or his children to do such a thing. And the white tongue was by far the worst thing ever! You don't love someone if you cheat and you don't/can't love someone if you accept them cheating and giving them a chance after how many times and the STD thing was just insane 🤢

I genuinely believe this all stems from her Mormon background. She didn’t want to be a single mother, and only had pre martial sex when away from her parents (which probably convinced her to marry him and deal with his infidelity) she’s clearly very naive. He was her first and she was set up to fail from the beginning
