This would've been me as a kid lol. I get extremely anxious at last minute changes, no matter how grand or exciting, plus I adored school at her age. I genuinely looked forward to it. They handled it very well!

THE FACT THAT SHE CRIED WHEN SHE COULDNT GO TO SCHOOL-
Her parents and her school must be fucking amazing to have her actually upset over missing school. And the way the mother comforted her afterwards and made her excited was just too adorable ❤️

Wow, it is amazing to see, that she likes school so much that she is crying because she is missing it even though they are going to Disneyland. The teachers are definitely doing something right. I would probably have cried tears of joy, because I would not have to go to school. (my teachers were just stressing everyone out even in elementary school and it quickly felt like a burden to me.)

As someone who would've cried because I missed school, thank you for handling that situation so well. I've seen parents yell at their kids, cancel trips and add to the overall negativity but I was so happy to see how you let her cry it out, reminded her that there was something fun in place of missing school and gave her a snack, because food fixes everything (:

Gosh; I miss being like this. I can't handle last minute vacations (especially if I miss school), but you were all so understanding and kind for letting her cry it out for a bit (and without scolding her)
