Some tips on how to wind toroids for Han Radio.

In this video I show some tips and tricks to easily wind a toroid for an antenna or anything else in ham radio. Good info for those of you that haven't tried winding one yet.

Finally, someone knows how to properly wind a toroid! Most folks want to run the end of the wire through first and the result is a sloppy winding job. Your way is how I have always done it and I always get good results. I will be referring people to this video and I found it when someone requested some instruction on how to do it properly ! Job well done!

I like to push the wire through like you did too, I think you can keep the windings tighter on the ferrite and in the right order.

I haven't made a balun or unun yet. I have seen a few ways to make them but finding torroids down here is a bit hard, as well as being overpriced. I hope to make a few different ones for different power and different wire antennas. I still have the first Cahrtenna to build once I get it shipped from my buddy.
