The record label is supposed to know what to do with the money.

What she twisted was the fact that when youre given an advance ( loan ) is that is your budget.

Its how you travel, eat, pay for studio time, pay for features, etc.

The label will tell you " you can use our studio to record your music " and you'll think that its all part of your contract but youll see how the advance they gave you will be charged $200 an hour for using their studios or their services wven thiugh you signed ti them.

Contract is agreement for you to pay the label for them to try and make you a star.

Its a star making agreement. If you make it or not you still have to pay us.

That advance is your budget.

Labels are just banks purposely made to break your pockets
