Interim Flood Protection Measures (IFPM) Program (Spanish subtitles)

The Interim Flood Protection Measures program is designed to reduce the risk at critical facilities, infrastructure, and low-lying areas in New York City from flooding caused by a hurricane. NYC Emergency Management manages the IFPM program in collaboration with the Mayor's Office of Climate and Environmental Justice, and several other City agencies. Since its inception, the program has expanded to protect several locations throughout the five boroughs.
