Other than placing the cam to the passenger side opposed to the drivers side ( passenger side is mostly recommended), I think this is the best video of this cam going round YT. Top job mate 👍📹

This is a fantastic video. Very well thought out and thorough. I learned more from this video than from the user manual and spending time looking up the manufacturer’s videos. Only thing I don’t understand is does the camera record on its own when I start my car or do I have to press a button for it to record?

I just bought mine and will get here next week. Just curious if you back windshield is tinted that may affect the way the back camera looks. My back windshield has a 5% tint so that’s why I ask. Otherwise awesome video thanks! Excited to get mine in.

Hello, the cigarette lighter socket in my vehicle works even if the vehicle is turned off. If I connect the camera there, will the parking mode work without purchasing an additional kit?

I wouldn't recommend installing the rear camera cable like that, as you now have a broken seal between the rubber and metal which will cause leaks and rust. Also when you close the door, the cable creates a gap between the rubber seal and door, which again leaves it open for water to seep in. The rear camera cable should be routed through the rubber cable sleeves.
