The long coat is timeless. Hope you find the jacket.

One of my favorite things about Highlander was the wardrobe. I loved that in one episode Mac would wear an outfit, and then a couple of episodes later he would have on the same sweater or trousers again. It was like an actual person choosing their clothes from their closet. It made a show about an immortal sword fighter seem more believable.

Back when Highland was on air - I got a leather jacket like what Stan wore. Had it for years. Had it on when I helped deliver my grandson in the front seat of a van. Was going to give it to him when he could fit into it. Alas - our dog took a liking to it before that could happen. Smile. Thanks for the memories.

I just got done watching the series for the first straight through. I love the development of the character. The last two seasons in particular, i love how the shows writing seemed to open up to show Adrian's comic chops even more. It seemed like the show took 2 seasons with the soft reboot to get the show where it needed to be. Props to you Adrian it was a great watch. My parents were watching each episode simultaneously. It has been a bright spot of the pandemic life.

I am in the process of making a Highlander fan film where I play Duncan MacLeod. I have spent the last 20 years trying to acquire garments from the TV series. Those elegant flowing dress shirts have been hell. I had to get them custom made. International Male was also a great source back in the day, but they are no longer around. The majority of the items have been endless searches on Ebay and Amazon. But I feel like all that effort is paying off in this film. It looks great on screen! Thanks for sharing this video, it has been something I have been asking for since you started this channel. Hoping the SXP comes back to Oregon soon! Looking forward to crossing swords with you once again! :)

The sweaters you had worn were gorgeous. I just watched the show because of the wardrobe!

That long black coat Mac had looked marvellous. It defined the 90s somehow. I remember Scully and Mulder sporting those too. Maybe not that dashing. However, since then I'd try to get my hands on one of those but they never even came close of how cool it looked back then. It must be the fabric or material, combined with the thickness and overall cut of it. Guess nowadays it has to be custom made.

Have no favorite designer! For me these prices are way to high! I get a ton of catalogues, where i can buy clothes online. Don't like to go in shops at the moment, with a mask on.
On HL i always smiled about the ladies wardrobe, these miniskirts. For me it was more girls look, than younger lady! Loved your long coats, very impressive!

Nothing feels like properly broken in antique leather. I just got this late 50's early 60's Moto Racer jacket, fits like a glove, like I wore it in another life. Truly soft. Beautiful patina. Can't help smiling every time I put it on!

I used to sew, I’ve made a lot of my clothes and my daughters clothes when they were young. I’ve sewed wedding dresses and custom made curtains and drapes for million dollar homes. Everyone I sewed for loved the way the clothes fit. But a few years ago I was in a coma and got muscle and nerve damage so now I can’t hardly even thread a needle. I miss sewing but luckily my granddaughter is learning to sew, so loves it and she really has the back for it.

My Mom was a dressmaker/tailor and all of my best items were from her. I still have quite a few even though she passed in 2015. I had my own personal designer.

My favorite items during the Highlander series was the coat and the pony tail holders. I loved those antique looking pony tail holders. Two years into the pandemic....what are clothes? I usually throw on a nice lounge top to be presentable on camera :). When I do go to the office, I look at a closet full of clothes, they still fit, but can't figure out how to pull together an outfit :).

I wore a long coat through most of the 90's trying to look like Duncan lol....I had long hair back then too and so naturally I had a pony tail holder with a silver metal thingamajig on it too....dressing like Sonny Crocket in the 80's and Duncan MacLeod in the 90's lol

I have had one of the Highlander official merchandise long black wool coats for 20 years... Still wear it on really cold days...
For some reason it seems to make certain people's heads explode.. but then I am in Tennessee...

Watching Highlander is how I became fashion forward. Robert Graham is my number one fashion brand these days, but I've been able to keep a lot of the style from Highlander — henley shirts, vests, long coats, etc. — pair them with modern pieces, and they don't look out of date at all. The style of Highlander is one of the enjoyable things about rewatching. I takes me back. It's almost like a flashback in a show with some really great flashbacks.

I really didn't have a favorite designer in the 1990's since I was in college at the time. It was more what fit me and what I could afford. I did discover the Highlander series, but I don't remember exactly when. I saw the original movie and when I heard about the series, I did what I could to catch it between classes. As for style, I do adore clothing from the Elizabethan times. My husband and I did a Renaissance Faire style wedding. I'm hoping one day to either get back into my wedding dress, or have one made in a similar style.

I was looking through google news when I came across an article on Highlander: Endgame and it talked about what was in the trailer that never made it into the film showing Connor & Duncan going through a magical portal, Connors head in an orb held by main Villain Jacob and the implication Jacob was not just powerful due to the multiple Quickenings but he was meant to be supernaturally powerful...This trick was done while promoting Justice league loads of scenes filmed just for promotion of the then trash version b4 the definitive cut was released--anyway it was interesting to know those additional scenes were filmed for highlander: Endgame
