How to Add Transition Effects to Videos Online using Kapwing

Transitions are now live in Kapwing!

With transitions like cross dissolve and cross blur, you'll be able to move smoothly from one clip to the next when editing videos in Kapwing. In this video, we go over where to find the transitions feature in the editor so you can add effects to the start and end of your video clips.

This is great. I can't wait to incorporate these techniques into my next video. My only complaint so far about Kapwing is that it often freezes up whenever I'm trying to edit. Then it takes 5 to 10 times longer to edit a video than it normally would. I'm not sure if it has to do with the Kawpwing website or with my internet connection, but thought I would mention it because it's really no fun when the editing pages keep freezing up. Then I get a notice saying that a page has stopped responding. I have to exit the page and sometimes re-do parts of what I'd been working on.

there is diffrence between 2020 kapwing or 2023 kapwing. kapwing is upgrading👍

It would be great to have transitions for images. It makes it more professional, the use of animate for transitions doesn't seem to be seamless. I do a lot of image videos and would love some transitions to use for these as well, .

i think it be great if you rotate the image....i don't mean color but spinning the image around and around! <3 also i use your edit thing like everyday when ever i make a video! (not every single video but some!) keep up the great work!

hello i am a 13 year old young editor and i think this is a good tutorial on transitions so in my opinion key framing should be added in the software if it is make a tool bar next to the canvis thank for the help
