Summer NAMM 2019: EARTHBOARD

We took some time at Summer NAMM 2019 to sit down with Kym Bradley and Mark Bradley to find out about what's new at Earthboard.

This was the coolest thing I saw at NAMM! My initial impressions were simplicity, cleanliness, and robust build quality. Kym gave me a thorough explanation of the technology and my mouth started watering! Just what I've been looking for.


I bought one today and can't wait to get it. I'll go onto say these guys are very responsive to emails and questions one may have too. I'll post more once I've had time to play around.

I really like what I see. Looks like a clean and quick deal, The concept of rearanging pedals, with out ripping 1/2 the world apart sounds great. In the event, this is completly independent sounds great. Wall noise has always been a major factor. The fact that there is alot of RF noise all around, could make this a game changer. I do like the Friedman system. How much more organtic can it get from there?

I have a really nice pedalboard, probably one of the best anywhere. HOWEVER, when I saw Earthboard, I had to move. I just put my board on order. The portability of it (alone) makes it instantly worth it. Plus I friggin hate acres of cabling. This is a game changer. I'm looking forward to whatever the Earthboard team comes up with next because this just is a cut above an entire market.


Some ideas/stuff I'd love to see upcoming for Earthboard:


1) Battery management - Maybe a gravity boot with a battery read out? How much juice do I have left? Can I hot-swap?
2) Some of my pedals cost ALOT. Even the one's that don't can be a hassle to replace. Can Earthboard blink or buzz when a would-be thief tries to grab a pedal?
3) Consider a "Roadie" Kit - an extra battery, boots, dummies and backup all in one little bag.


I have tons more but I think for a small company, the above should be do-able. It's a great product and a great palette to get creative with.

Wow. I definitely will be getting one of these. I hate my mess spaghetti mess of cords on my board. Great ideas they have. From a soccer mom to boot lol.
