They shouldn't have been squabbling like that in public, I don't think I ever heard Annamie Paul answer questions about anything other than the party's internal issues. They were literally never talking about policy or what they'd do if elected which is a huge shift from previous elections

Everyone saw this coming. There is not a surprise!

She was the only candidate who answered independent journalists questions at the debate. Respect her for that

She was on the verge of tears there. I think some mean-spirited people inside the Green Party have gotten their way.

Truely, I dont think anyone found her leadership inspiring. Im not trying to be mean or anything. But I wish her well and hope the Greens sort themselves out.

I don't think that the Green Party has been perennially limited to 2 seats purely as a result of Paul.

This was a convoluted situation, to say the least. I think that it was the right thing for her to do, to step down. I’m just sad for the reasons behind it. My hope is that Paul is able to take care of herself, and not be discouraged from trying to make a difference.

I liked her more than her party. Would love to see her move to the NDP.

Good for her! I hope she takes a nice break to relax and makes her needs the priority moving forward.

I'm surprise it took her this long to make this decision. She had no support from day 1. This is sad.

Paul NEEDS to give More Specific Details explaining her Allegations. She NEEDS to lay it ALL out on the Table for the Voters to see and Try to Understand what she's Saying. IF she's NOT going to be more Specific then what are the Voters suppose to do about it?

I think she seemed good for the Green Party. She needed more support. How can you be successful without support from party. I thought she did a great job. I like that you shattered the ceiling. I am sorry you had to go through what you had to. Best of luck in your future.

I do know enough to know that I’ve never shown confidence in anime Paul and she’s doing the Right thing for her and her party and she’s probably a very impressive person she certainly is strong

Ask yourself NOT what the party can do for you, but what you can do for your PARTY!

Please, just stop. End this green party nonsense.

I watched her unedited presentation on another channel and she never took responsibility for the disaster. She blamed the Council and "attacks" and spoke of the lack of opportunity, "equity and justice". But wasn't it her not affording equity and justice for the Palestinian people that triggered her demise and the hit to the party. The UK Labour party suffered the same fate when elites imposed their anti-Palestinian stance over the will of the membership.

Feel bad for her because she did great at the debate. But if you don't even have support from your own party it's hard to make anything work.

I'm so disappointed in the Green Party. You choose your leader and you stand behind them. I have voted for them, I really like Elizabeth May. This party needs to unify on the inside if they expect the general population to come alongside them.

Poor her I reaaly feel bad for her... without any political affiliation myself I'm just very disapointing and sad for the lack of support she had to endure :/
