Speaking real facts, a lot of mothers played this role but didn’t even know.

No ma'am, she is a GOAT.
She acknowledged her faults and know correction.

The hardest job in the world is being a single mom so no apology needed.

I was pretty bad too, I was so angry. My father wasn’t there, my child’s father was abusive, the man that raised me molested me. Just been let down by men. Only man that didn’t let me down is Jesus. When I lay everything at his feet, life becomes more manageable. When we choose Jesus, he helps us choose honest people to become apart of our lives.

Damn you realize how much you relate when you listen to the explanation

She is so honest . That makes her an even greater person. Most people can't admit their own failures

She sounds like my Mama. Because of Papa, we were always in survival mode. And despite everything, I thank her every day. I love my Mama. She wasn't the worst, but she was silver.

She said she had a crazy man, but the father wasn't there. That's a statement right there!😢

Self-awareness is highly important. Too bad half of these adults don't realize it until decades later, inevitably ruined lives..

Its true when they said "You will only understand it when you're grown up"

I didnt have an emotional connection with my mom because she was very busy providing us everything. I grew up a bit distant to her but O realize everything now. She made me the most resilient, the most discipline, hustler and a goal getter. Everytime I feel like giving up I think of my mom. "If my mom can, I can too".

What society still fails to acknowledge about single black mothers. Y'all are champions and deserve better than what you got. Doing your best at a job you were never meant to have to do.

Classic example of why mate selection is so important.

This hits home as my mother did the same. My father passed away from double pneumonia leaving her with 2 sons to raise. She worked 2 jobs, made sure breakfast and dinner was on the table. However, the affection was missing and I can't really blame her because she did the best she could.
