Silky saws are good saws and the only negative is that I've heard that they have a tendency to snap from time to time. I've really enjoyed the couple of times that I've gotten to use them. Thanks for sharing the test with us to give a good feel of how well it work. Thanks mate!

Having two is great. For the second one try and get it in yellow that way it will be easier to identify in the field. I agree for the price just buy another saw. It does take some getting use to, slow and easy wins the race. LOL

Thanks for the test. If a blade cuts well and without much effort through any Australian wood species it means it's a high quality blade. Period

I still think your still doing to much of a conventional sawing motion. I tend to go noticeably slower & loft it up & forwards but rip it back hard .
How go is the cut ? Mate there $38ish dollars from arbor lab at Capalaba

The secret is to go slower on the push stroke. The blades are bloody expensive as well so you don’t wanna break ‘em
