I'm gonna be a real estate agent

So I took my national and state test for becoming a realtor in Alabama today, and I passed.

Why does a real estate investor want to be an agent?

A lot of people come to me about buying property in montgomery. Actually, people come to me about buying property in many places.

I typically send people to a network of agents that I’ve made over the years, but it really makes more sense for me to handle some of these myself.

I’ll also be buying and selling lots of properties for my own portfolio, and I mine as well make my own commission instead of giving it away.

A real estate agent with strong experience with real estate investing is an awesome thing and hard to find.

Congratulations, although it sounds that you no longer get a W2, you would’ve been a “real estate professional “ ( from the perspective of 750 hours per year and spending more time than in any other “ work “ you also do) and so allowing your “active income taxes” (W2) to be reduced by your passive losses from your rental investments, although there’s a good chance via your write offs, depreciation and rental losses from your extensive rental holdings that paying significant income tax is unlikely, nevertheless, congrats on your dedication and time spent in passing your test, first attempt
