This curriculum sounds like it would be good anyone wanting to learn more about the US. I've been out of school for many years, so I've forgotten most of what I learned about the states. I may try this one even though I don't have kids that I'm homeschooling.

I think you have convinced me to get this 😂 it doesn’t usually take much these days. But I have always felt the same way as you about US state studies

Can't wait to see what you think of the Campfire geography series. We love Campfire and will be doing US geography in a couple of years.

I'll definitely have to come back to these videos when my son gets to high school :P I love how you've adapted the curriculums you have used to fit your son- especially regarding the writing assignments. We tried IEW this year and whereas I loved it, my son absolutely hated it and now refuses to write even a sentence. Actually, any output in the form of writing/drawing/note taking causes tears. I'm curious at about what age was your son finally able to write ? We are finishing Grade 4 and still struggling with a basic sentence :( often he dictates and I just write it down for him. Thanks!

We love Campfire Curriculuums- we've done Titanic, Resurrection, Love you to the Moon and Back, and Carolling Noel. Currently doing Pirates. :D

Oh yes- I have a 7th and 4th grader who don’t know our states because those lessons are boring and they don’t remember them! This looks like a good book, even tho it looks a little overwhelming- like drinking from a firehose! It seems like it would take a long time to complete one lesson. But they need to know the states, and that’s really a nonissue compared to the other sawdust fact curriculum I’ve seen!
It seems it would be good for both ages tho, right? What do you think?

I actually prefer no core connections with our Campfire units. It just takes the stress off of me with trying to do so much.

I'm just sad about one thing: Why isn't there a Geography series like this for Canada- speaking for all of us Canadians stuck with boring and dry geography books ;) 😑

Have you done a unit yet for health you would recommend?

Maybe you mentioned it, but how many lessons are there in this course?

Hey! Quick question, I saw you were using master books for history and you are also doing a course for geography, don’t they usually intermix? Will your son be getting a credit for history and a separate credit for us geography? ….Just a curious mama who is looking ahead to having a high schooler in 2025. Thanks for your videos, they are very helpful! ~Rebecca

Could you make a video tutorial about how you keep track of transcripts? We're using GRH as well. My oldest will be in HIgh School in 2 years and I don't know how to make these units count as credits.

Are you still using Gather 'Round Connecting Continents also? I have a 9th grader & love how you planned on doing Gather 'Round for Geography & World History credits over 4 years. Just wondering if you are still doing that & how it's going.

Hello I saw an older video of yours. I want to ask you… are you still using gather round for high school as your core curriculum?
