Talion was just created for the games, so I'd be pretty shocked to see him in this! Besides, I believe that the games are set in the 60 years between The Hobbit and the LotR. The show is set in the second age, thousands of years earlier.

As a long time Tolkien book fan, I am really looking forward to seeing the show! Every new thing released is building more and more confidence and excitement within the Tolkien community. Sure, many are still understandably cautious about it, but try to just ignore any extremely negative comments you see. Sadly there is a very vocal and toxic minority who are trying to drown out any positivity for the show. Some of the comments I've seen, especially regarding female and/or black characters, have been disgusting in their level of hate. It's even worse when they attack the actors themselves. Truly shameful behaviour.

Favourite Tolkien characters? Hmm. That could be a long list, so I'll just name the first ones that come to mind. Bilbo, Balin, Tom Bombadil, Quickbeam, Boromir, Celebrimbor, Fingolfin, Maedhros, Beleg, Beren, and Lúthien.

This isn't Tolkien. The cgi is lacklustre even compared to 20 years ago. They don't have the rights to the Silmarilion, Unfinished Tales or any other of Tolkien's writings other than The Hobbit, LOTR and appendices. The time compression is horrendous.
There are no demagorgans in Tolkien - that's D&D.
The dialogue makes no sense.
"You have been told many lies about Middle Earth" - yes, by Amazon.
You say you love Middle Earth ever since you were a child? Yet fluff around regarding to trying to remember the Balrog. Or even the names of the trilogy Really?
Balrogs don't appear in 2nd age.
The LOTR trilogy of books are The Fellowship of the Rings, The Two Towers and The Return of the King.
It's also releasing on the anniversary of Tolkien's death. Utterly disrespectful.
It's an expensive fantasy with cheap writing and nothing to do with Tolkien other than names. It's a ripoff.
I am sure you are good hearted and nice dude all round. But these reaction videos are really getting rather weird. There is little to react to. Reviews and deep dives are grand. Reaction videos are just not cutting it, especially if you haven't done the research first.
